by Kim Wengreen
(Mendon, Utah)

1 lb. ground beef, cooked
2 16-oz. cans of green beans (*drain one can; the liquid from the second can will be used)
1/3 c. powdered tomatoes
2/3 c. water
1 T. dried onion flakes
2/3 c. water
1 t. salt
1 1/2 c. potato pearls
3 c. hot water
1 c. cheese powder
2-3 c. water

Mix ground beef and green beans (including liquid from one can) together.

In a separate bowl, mix powdered tomatoes, 2/3 c. water, onion, and salt; add to hamburger mixture. Place in a greased 13 x 9 dish.

Rehydrate potatoes in hot water and spoon over beef mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Combine cheese powder and 2-3 c. water; pour cheese mix over the top of the casserole and broil until the cheese is bubbly and starts to brown.
