Saving Money on Diapers

This is My baby and Her New Diapers Receipt for Diapers August 18, 2010

I bought eight packages of Huggies Diapers and spent $55.00. I saved $27.96. That means that each package only cost $7.00.

I've had babies in diapers for the last 18 years and diapers are a big expense. On this trip I was able to save about $3 a package. That's a 35% savings. It's kind of like buying 2 and getting 1 free.

Here's the break down:

Regular Price = $9.77
Fresh Value Sale = Save $0.78
Add Up the Savings Promo = Save $0.50
Manufacture's Coupon = Save $1.75 - $2.50 per package
Bottom Line = $7.00 for each package

This is a 4 star sale. When a 5 star sale comes around, I'll stock up on more diapers.

Shopping Trip -- August 18, 2010

I've used cloth diapers, and they're another great solution. It's a little bit of an investment to buy high quality cloth diapers, but in the long run it'll save you money.
