Old Country Lentil Soup ©

  • 2 t. salt

  • 1 t. beef bullion

  • ¼ t. pepper

  • ½ t. thyme

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 8 c. water

  • 2 c. lentils - rinse

  • 1 med. onion - diced

  • 2 med. carrots - sliced

  • Optional: Can add potatoes and/or celery.

Boil and simmer for 45 min.
Makes 8 servings
