Cabbage Roll Casserole

This is a tasty recipe that uses the cabbage from your garden.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Head of cabbage

  • 1 Pound ground turkey (or other kind of meat)

  • 1 Can tomato soup

  • 1 Can water (tomato soup size can)

  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 T Rice (uncooked)


Chop up the cabbage and layer it on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Brown the meat and mix it with the rest of the ingredients.

Layer the mixture on top of the cabbage.

Cover with tinfoil and bake 60-90 minutes at 350ºF.

Condensed or Regular Soup?

Is the soup condensed and that's why you add water or is it o.k. to use tomato soup that's not condensed and the water? I only ask because I have a can of tomato soup on hand and it is not condensed. Thanks.
